Precautionary Measures In Response To Novel Coronavirus Situation
The ACI 12th Annual Airport Economics & Finance Conference & Exhibition (the Event) taking place on 24-26 March 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is proceeding as scheduled.
ACI Asia-Pacific, ACI Europe and ACI World (the Organizers), together with the host Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, are closely monitoring the novel coronavirus situation and shall implement necessary precautionary measures as and when announced by the relevant governments and regulatory bodies.
The health and well-being of delegates, speakers, exhibitors and workers attending the event are our priority. We are taking account of information and guidance from the Malaysian Government to implement necessary precautionary measures leading up to and during the Event.
We are informing all our exhibitors and delegates that with effect from 27 January 2020, the Malaysian Government has, until further notice, temporarily suspended all immigration facilities – eNTRY(facility without visa), Visa On Arrival (VOA), e-visa and manual visas to all China nationals from Wuhan city and the surrounding Hubei province, as a means to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
During the Event, we shall ensure enhanced housekeeping management protocols are implemented at the meeting venues in order to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
Aviation Media, acting on behalf of the Organizers, shall closely monitor that situation and implement necessary measures as required by the authorities, and provide relevant updates leading up to the ACI 12th Annual Airport Economics & Finance Conference & Exhibition.
